Servo Automotive Lubricants

General Equipment And Machinery Greases

servogem 2/3/Ep Greases

servogem 2 and 3 Multipurpose greases with lithium soap are known for their outstanding water resistance, high oxidation stability, and superior structural stability, coupled with excellent anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties. These greases effectively resist water washout, making them widely accepted for both anti-friction and plain bearing lubrication. They meet specifications such as British Timken ALG 1/57, IS: 7623-1993, IPSS: 1-09-006, and US Steel 374 requirements. Their applications are prevalent in steel plants, heavy engineering units, textile mills, as well as petrochemical and chemical facilities.

servogem EP
Lithium-based greases with extreme pressure properties are characterized by their excellent shear stability, high load-carrying capacity, superior oxidation stability, and effective anti-rust/anti-corrosion properties. These greases play a crucial role in preventing welding and seizure of moving parts, especially under shock loading conditions, and demonstrate resistance to water washout. Meeting the IPSS:1-09-005 specification, they are recommended for use in both plain and anti-friction bearings across a diverse range of applications, including automotive, earth-moving equipment, and general industrial machinery.

servogem Ht/ Htxx
Servogem HT and HTXX are non-soap-based greases with a smooth structure, specifically designed to withstand high temperatures and severe shock load conditions. They exhibit excellent resistance to water washout and remain unaffected by mild acids and alkalies. Servogem HTXX, enriched with MoS2, demonstrates a high load-bearing ability. These greases comply with US Steel 372, IPSS: 1-09-008 specifications and are recommended for lubricating machine elements, plain bearings, and anti-friction bearings operating at elevated temperatures ranging from 120°C to 250°C. Additionally, these greases meet the IS: 12790-1989 standard.

Complex Greases

Servorex L0, L1, and L2 are calcium-lead-based greases featuring a short fibrous structure with commendable EP (extreme pressure) and anti-rust properties. These greases are well-suited for both anti-friction and plain bearings that operate at medium speeds under heavy and severe shock loads. Leveraging their outstanding water-repellent characteristics, these greases have proven effective in the lubrication of bearings in steel mills, cane crushers, and mill rolls within sugar factories. Various steel plants employ these greases in centralized grease lubrication systems, and they are also recommended for use in grease-lubricated gear couplings.

Servoplex Lc, Lc1, Lc2, and Lc3 are distinctive lithium complex greases crafted from highly refined base oils with a high viscosity index. These greases exhibit elevated water tolerance and mechanical stability, coupled with exceptional high-temperature performance. Ideal for centralised grease systems, they showcase resistance to oil separation under pressure and mechanical stability. These greases find widespread use in steel plants, mining, and engineering industries.

Servogem Super Ht is a brown, smooth, and homogeneous high-temperature grease designed for lubrication across a broad temperature spectrum, ranging from -10°C to 180°C. Noteworthy for its excellent pumpability characteristics, this grease is particularly well-suited for centralised lubrication systems in large industrial units. Recommended for various industrial applications where high temperatures are prevalent, it proves to be an ideal choice for steel plant equipment such as continuous casters, couplings, oscillators, run-out rolls, and blowers. Additionally, it is suitable for mining industries, serving applications like rock crushers, conveyors, and drilling machinery. With outstanding resistance to structural changes over a wide temperature range and water washout, its excellent flow properties make it the preferred grease for centralised lubrication systems.

Servoplex 2 and 3 are lithium complex soap-based greases renowned for their premium quality, boasting very high structural and oxidation stability. With superior mechanical stability, they excel in high-temperature applications, delivering outstanding performance in antifriction bearings. Compared to sodium or lithium soap-based greases, these greases offer a significantly longer lifespan. They exhibit excellent resistance to water wash-out and possess impressive antirust and anticorrosion properties. These greases come highly recommended for applications such as wheel bearings, earth-moving equipment, gear couplings, electric motors, and various industrial machinery. They successfully pass the Emcor antirust test with a zero rating and demonstrate very high Weld Load characteristics. Moreover, they meet the NLGI GC/LB specification.

Chain Grease
SERVO Chain Compound is a highly specialized lubricant designed for chain applications. The recommended method of application involves dipping the chain into the molten compound to ensure thorough penetration into the narrow clearances of the pin-bush and bush rollers. This compound is effective in resisting the formation of tight links, thereby reducing wear and elongation of chains. Additionally, it provides protection to sprockets and transmission components by guarding against rust, corrosion, and wear.

Graphited Grease

Servogrease Graphited 5081, 5082, and 5083 are calcium-based greases incorporating graphite as a filler. Specifically designed for general lubrication under conditions of relatively high load and low relative displacement of interacting surfaces, these greases adhere to IS: 508-1987 specifications for Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 respectively. They come highly recommended for applications such as leaf springs, hydraulic rams, plungers, slides, elevator cables, pantograph pans, as well as for protecting steel wire ropes and certain anti-seize purposes.

Cement Plant Greases

Servogrease CG 10 is an adhesive lubricant in spray form, enriched with high-quality colloidal graphite. Tailored for extremely demanding lubrication conditions prevalent in very slow-speed, large open gear drives, this grease is designed to create robust lubrication films that adhere strongly to gear surfaces, remaining unaffected by temperature changes. It is particularly recommended for the lubrication of open gear drives in applications such as rotary kilns, cement mills, sintering plants, ball mills, and more. This grease successfully passes the FZG 12th stage test and boasts a high weld load of 650 kg.

servogrease Rn
servogrease RN is an excellent open gear running-in compound containing specially selected additives. The grease is recommended for running-in and for filling tooth flanks of large open gear drives of rotary kilns, cement mills, sintering plants, ball mills, etc. It possesses high weld load of 800 Kg and passes FZG 12th stage.
